SHIPPING RESPONSIBLY

Our Pet Supply Shop grew out of our love for all animals. We provide nutritious bugs grown with love to keep your scaley, furry, slimy, and pokey loved ones healthy. 

We understand the special bond between pets and their owners, and we want to encourage that kind of love in everyone.
Pet ownership is a rewarding responsibility, and with this in mind, we continue to make sure that everyone who comes to us is well-educated and understands the obligations required to keep a happy and healthy pet. Our goal at Hot Roach Cafe is to provide you with dietary options to nurture your pet

We ship all orders Monday-Wednesday. 

  • Live arrival is guaranteed in any climate. During extreme weather (below 40° or above 80°) or if you are unavailable to immediately bring your order inside it is necessary to have you order held at the Post Office for pick up for the live arrival guarantee to apply. We do have heat packs available that can be purchased for cold weather protection. If you have concerns about the temperature range in your area or your availability to bring you order inside immediately upon delivery we recommend having your order held at your local post office for pick up.

  • It is the customer's responsibility to be home to receive roaches when they arrive.

  • If the customer cannot be home at time of arrival, we suggest requesting shipment to be held at the local post office for pick up. This offers maximum control over weather and or temperature exposure issues.

  • Chilled Dubias may appear dead but are typically fine and will become active as they warm up. Bring them inside into normal household temperatures (60º-75°) and let them warm up naturally. Do not attempt to "heat" them.

  • Please check for the accuracy of the shipping and email address given. We are not responsible for shipments that have been provided incorrect shipping addresses.

  • We will not be held responsible for the arrival date of the order. As we use national shipping it is the customers' responsibility to monitor tracking information. We are not accountable for any expense to care for or feed your animal due to late delivery.

  • We are not responsible for packages lost by USPS.

  • We will not be held responsible for damage or harm caused by the insects or which orders may contain.

  • Always unpack insects in a safe and controlled manner.  Always open and unpackage over a container that can catch any bugs that may fall.

  • On DOA orders you must contact us within 1 hour of delivery time based on the USPS tracking data with photos of packaging and insects.

  • Replacement solutions will be offered on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds. 

  • It is the customer's responsibility to research the laws in their state and be accountable for following all local guidelines for insect ownership.

  • We do not ship to Hawaii. We do not ship Dubia roaches to Florida.
